Volunteers dressed in Soviet-style uniforms congratulate World War Two veteran Konstantin Puganov on the upcoming Victory Day, marking the 79th anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany in World War Two, in the courtyard of his house in Tiraspol, Transnistria region, also known as the unrecognised Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR), Moldova. Puganov took part in World War Two from September 1944, serving as a sailor in the Soviet Navy, then studied as a cadet at a naval school. He was awarded medals "For Battle Merit" and "For Victory over Germany".
