Natalya Poluektova, a former Swiss Embassy interpreter accused of large-scale fraud, and lawyer Tatyana Golovkina, left, attend a hearing at Basmanny District Court in Moscow, Russia. In the summer of 2018, Poluektova alleged that she had been sexually harassed by diplomat Yves Rossier, then Switzerland's ambassador to Russia. Rossier claimed he was not involved in the offence. Poluektova soon resigned and a criminal fraud case was opened. According to the investigation, the ex-interpreter at the embassy illegally issued medical insurance payments, although she did not carry out any medical procedures. The prosecutor's office believes that the damage caused by Poluektova's actions amounted to 4.5 million roubles.
