The building of the Oryol Region Subsidiary of the Russian Central Bank's Main Directorate for the Central Federal District. is among the most beautiful, oldest, most colorful and unusual local buildings. Commissioned by Emperor Alexander II in the 19th century, it was completed to a design by architect Sergei Rodionov from Moscow and under his supervision. The building is a cultural heritage landmark.
