

A monument to the black fox, which adorns the coat of arms of the Russian city of Totma, on the banks of the Sukhona River. It was created by the famous Moscow sculptor Ilya Vyuyev in 1917. It will become a symbol of the exploits of Russian merchants, sailors and industrialists. It is made of fiber-reinforced concrete, and the outside is coated with bronze paint. It was unveiled in 2017, the year of the 880th anniversary of Totma and the 205th anniversary of the Fort Ross fortress in California.
