The XV Summer Olympic Games (July 19 - August 3, 1952) in Helsinki (Finland). Football match between the national teams of the USSR and Yugoslavia at the Ratina stadium in Tampere. Players of the USSR national team before the match of the 1/8 finals of the Olympic tournament (from left to right): team captain Vsevolod Bobrov, goalkeeper Leonid Ivanov, Yury Nyrkov, Konstantin Krizhevsky, Anatoly Bashashkin, Igor Netto, Alexander Petrov, Anatoly Ilyin, Valentin Nikolayev, Friedrich Maryutin, and Vasily Trofimov. The USSR national team lost to the Yugoslav national team after two matches (5:5, 1:3).
