

The bell of the Armenia hospital ship lifted from the bottom of the Black Sea is on display at a memorial to the vessel on the day it was unveiled in Yalta, Republic of Crimea, Russia. The Armenia motor ship, converted into a hospital vessel, was sunk by German aircrafts during World War Two in November 7, 1941. The tragedy claimed at least 4.5 thousand lives, mostly civilians.
