

A delegation from the Kingdom of Tonga visits the Soviet Union. February 19-27, 1987. Crown Prince and Tongan Minister of Foreign Affairs and Defense Tupouto'a, third left, visits the Piskaryov Memorial Cemetery in Leningrad where the six-meter bronze sculpture of the Motherland is installed. The sculpture is designed as a woman holding a garland of oak leaves, a symbol of eternity.
