Activists of the regional branch of United Russia Young Guard movement hold a giant Russian national flag to mark the day of new regions' reunification with Russia in Victory Square, in Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia region territory, that has accessed Russia. On September 30, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin and heads of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, as well as the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia Regions, signed treaties on their regions' accession to Russia.
