The head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Aisen Nikolaev follows the coffin with the body of the first Yakutia's president Mikhail Nikolaev into the building of the State Opera and Ballet Theatre for the the funeral ceremony, in Yakutsk, Russia. The first president of Yakutia, state Councilor of the Republic Mikhail Nikolaev passed away on August 4 at the age of 86. Mourning has been declared in the region up to and including August 8.
