Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, right, visits the reconstruction site of the Olimpiysky Sports Complex in Moscow, Russia. One of objects built for the 1980 Summer Olympic Games in the north-east of the Russian capital was closed for reconstruction in March 2019, as it was considered the complex was out-of-date. A year later the demolition started. Instead of a regular roof, the stadium will get a low glass dome that won’t be seen from the ground. It’s planned to have a fitness-club, a running center, cinemas, a small planetary and a concert hall for 10,000 spectators.
