A view shows the reconstruction site of the Olimpiysky Sports Complex, with Cathedral Mosque seen in the background, in Moscow, Russia. One of objects built for the 1980 Summer Olympic Games in the north-east of the Russian capital was closed for reconstruction in March 2019, as it was considered the complex was out-of-date. A year later the demolition started. Instead of a regular roof, the stadium will get a low glass dome that won’t be seen from the ground. It’s planned to have a fitness-club, a running center, cinemas, a small planetary and a concert hall for 10,000 spectators.
