Moscow. Celebrating Defender of the Fatherland Day at the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. Corporal Dmitry Rychkov of the Russian Army was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation for hi heroic feat during the counter-terrorist operation in the North Caucasus region. Galina Rychkova, the mother of Dmitry Rychkov, received the Gold Star Medal.
