Violinist Gidon Kremer (the USSR), a student of the Moscow State Conservatoire (Professor David Fyodorovich Oistrakh's class) who gained the first prize and the gold medal, performing at the 4th International Tchaikovsky Competition, the Grand Hall of the Moscow State Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky Conservatoire.
