A photo of the Koenigsberg Observatory. It was built in the former People's Garden on Butterberg Hill under the guidance of the great German astronomer and mathematician, Professor of the Koenigsberg University Friedrich Bessel in 1813 (now does not exist), of which he remained the director until the end of his life. The equipment of the observatory was made according to Bessel's drawings. Exhibit of the Friedrich Bessel Kaliningrad Planetarium.
