In this handout photo released by the Russian Space Agency Roscosmos, the eruption of the Shiveluch volcano is seen from space in the Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia. The Shiveluch, one of Kamchatka's most active volcanoes, located 450 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, erupted on the morning of April 11 in the Ust-Kamchatsky district, spewing clouds of dust 20 kilometers (65,600 feet) into the sky and covering broad areas with ash. The village of Klyuchi suffered the most from the ashfall - the thickness of the ash layer there reached 20 cm. Editorial use only, no archive, no commercial use.
