In this video grab a resident clears a path covered with ashes from the erupting volcano Shiveluch in the Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia. The Shiveluch, one of Kamchatka's most active volcanoes, located 450 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, erupted on the morning of April 11 in the Ust-Kamchatsky district, spewing clouds of dust 20 kilometers (65,600 feet) into the sky and covering broad areas with ash. The village of Klyuchi suffered the most from the ashfall - the thickness of the ash layer there reached 20 cm.
