Turkmen SSR. Scientific-sports expedition Human and Desert is a hike in the Karakum desert in July-August 1984. The expedition was organized by the Institute of Biomedical Problems of the USSR Ministry of Health. Each hour consists of 50 minutes of movement and 10 minutes of rest.
