Turkmen SSR. Scientific-sports expedition Human and Desert is a hike in the Karakum desert in July-August 1984. The expedition was organized by the Institute of Biomedical Problems of the USSR Ministry of Health. Expedition member Zeynel Sakibzhanov is responsible for the life and food of his comrades in overcoming the sands.
