A monument at the Immortality Mound in Smolensk dedicated to the memory of the Soviet troops killed during the Great Patriotic War. The memorial features verses by Robert Rozhdestvensky: "People! As long as hearts beat, remember the price paid for happiness. Please, remember!" The monument was designed by architect Daniil Kovalenko and sculptor Vladimir Menshov.
