

Signing agreement on establishing the Soviet-US joint venture PRIS (Applied Engineering Systems), the first such company in the Soviet Union, at the Moscow office of the US-Soviet Trade and Econoic Council. The joint venture incorporated the Neftekhimavtomatika Science and Production Association and the corporation Combustion Engineering Incorporated.
