Church of St. John the Evangelist is an Orthodox church in the city of Kolomna. Built of brick in 1756. In the first half of the XIX century. an ensemble of shopping arcades was created, and the church became its compositional center. The multi-tiered bell tower in the Empire style was completed in 1846. This is the tallest building in Staraya Kolomna, which has long become an architectural symbol of the city.
