Shevlyaginskaya Basseika is a unique monument to the historical Kolomna water pipeline built at the beginning of the 20th century, which is a copy of the water column of those times, recreated according to pre-revolutionary drawings. The column is operational and connected to the city water supply. It got its name from the name of the honorary citizen Maria Shevlyagina, who at the beginning of the 20th century sponsored the construction of the Kolomna water pipeline free of charge.
