

Cathedral Square is the main square of the Kolomna fortress, establuished in the 14th century following the construction of the Grand Duke's and Bishop's Palaces. Today it is the oldest square in Kolomna. The buildings surrounding it are examples of church architecture and part of the federal cultural heritage and that of the peoples of Russia.
