

Zaraisk in the Moscow Region. The town's water tower ranks among the most interesting and memorable architectural landmarks of the Moscow Region. It was built in 1914-1916 to a design by a technician named A. I. Filippov in the town's highest section. The 29-meter tall octagonal four-tier tower is made of red bricks. In the past, the tower pumped water to local buildings.
