Zaraisk in the Moscow Region. On December 12, 1971, a granite and metal memorial plaque honoring Vasily Gulyayev, the first Chairman of the Zaraisk Soviet (Council) of Workers and Soldiers Deputies. was unveiled at 8/5 Gulyayev Street. It was made to a design by Merited Culture Worker of Russia Vladimir Polyanchev.
