Zaraisk in the Moscow Region. An old building with a memorial plaque reading that Ivan Shcherbakov, a holder of all classes of the St. George Cross, lived here in 1946-1961. Shcherbakov received top military decorations for his exploits during World War I, the Russian Civil War of 1918-1922 and the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
