City of Petrozavodsk. Severnaya Hotel is the dominant of the historical center of the city and an architectural monument of regional significance. Built in 1939 according to the design of architect Yuri Rusanov in the constructivist style, destroyed during the Second World War to the ground, restored in 1948 in the neoclassical style by the architect Kusiel Gutin.
