

Built to a design by sculptor Sergei Yevseyev and architects Vladimir Shchuko and Vladimir Gelfreikh, the Lenin Monument near Finlyandsky (Finnish) Railway Station in Leningrad was unveiled on November 7, 1926 on the ninth anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution.
