Monument to Prince Dmitry Pozharsky, legendary Russian military commander, who served as Governor of Zaraysk in the early 17th century. His effort largely protected the Zaraysk Castle during the 1610-1611 invasion. Unveiled in 2004, the bronze and granite bust was sculpted by Merited Artist of Russia Yury Ivanov and architect S. Kireyev.
