Visitors are seen at the “On the Way to the Temple” exhibition of Russian painter Alexander Ivanov, in Moscow, Russia. The Tretyakov Gallery is the exclusive owner of the graphic heritage of Alexander Ivanov (1806-1858), which includes more than 700 independent sheets and about 40 albums. The exhibition “On the Way to the Temple” is Ivanov’s fourth monographic exhibition in the Gallery, it demonstrates the artist’s new attitude to temple religious painting and monumental art.
