The Hydrometeorological Service of Russia, part of the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (today the Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring). The test site of the National Scientific Research Institute of Electromechanics (now named after Iosifyan), whose specialists are working on the creation of meteorological satellites for hydrometeorological and oceanographic support, as well as meteorological satellites for studying the ionosphere.
