In 1989, a center for the medical and social rehabilitation of teenagers and disabled adults with severe cerebral palsy opened in Moscow's Tsaritsyno District. Photo: Professor Levon Badalyan, DSc (Medicine), Head of the Neurology Faculty at Pirogov Russian National Medical Research University, suggested new methods doe treating progressive muscular dystrophy. The center's specialists successfully use these methods.
