

City of Lvov. A sculptural group on the upper facade of the building of the State Museum of Ethnography and Artistic Crafts of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR (now the Museum of Ethnography and Artistic Crafts of the Institute of Ethnology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine). The building was built in 1891 for the Central Monopoly Savings Bank. The author of the sculptural group, Leonard Marconi, embodied in the stone female figure - Liberty - a symbol of thrift and prosperity, and in the male statues that surround her - success in agriculture and industry.
