A general view shows shallow waters of Abakan channel of the Yenisei River in Krasnoyarsk, Russia. Since July 20, the Krasnoyarsk HPP has reduced the flow of water through the dam to 1950-2100 cubic meters per second in order to draw water into the reservoir for winter operation. This decision was made in connection with the extreme low water on the Yenisei - the lowest water level in the entire history of observations since 1936.
