A general view shows shallow waters of the Yenisei River in Krasnoyarsk, Russia. Since July 20, the Krasnoyarsk HPP has reduced the flow of water through the dam to 1950-2100 cubic meters per second in order to draw water into the reservoir for winter operation. This decision was made in connection with the extreme low water on the Yenisei - the lowest water level in the entire history of observations since 1936.
