Residential buildings in Shmitovsky Proyezd (in some sources this part of the Presnensky District is mentioned as Poselok Imeni 1905, Novye Doma or Nizhnyaya Presnya) built during Soviet times for the workers of the Felix Dzerzhinsky Tryokhgornaya Manufactory, Moscow's oldest textile company founded in 1799 by merchant Vasily Prokhorov.
