

Major Anna Nikulina, a political worker, fought in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 and also took part in the Battle for Berlin. On May 2, 1945, she installed the Red Banner over the Reich (Imperial) Chancellery. She earned 16 combat awards and marched in the June 24, 1945 Victory Parade on Moscow's Red Square.
