Chuya Rally '89 (Altai'89) is the first international competition with the participation of rafters, held from April 28 to May 4, 1989 on the Chuya River (Gorno-Altai Autonomous Region) as part of the ProjectRaft international project, in which athletes from 15 countries took part. A participant is provided medical assistance.
