A wooden painted egg is a souvenir for the participants of the anniversary scientific and tourist international expedition dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the campaign of Russian sailors Vitus Bering and Alexei Chirikov to the shores of Alaska, which marked the beginning of the Russian America era. Designed by artists Leonid Polishchuk and Svetlana Shcherbinina from Moscow and Alexei and Makar Zhemchuzhnikov from Kaluga.
