A view from a plane shows the 700-metre-deep Vostochny opencast of the Olimpiada gold operation owned by the Polyus company outside the village of Eruda in Krasnoyarsk region, Russia. Olimpiada is Polyus' largest operating asset. The ore mined at the site is processed at three mills, with a combined capacity of over 14 mln tonnes of ore per year. PJSC Polyus is the largest gold producer in Russia and a top 5 gold producer globally.
