St. Sophia's Cathedral (Cathedral of Holy Wisdom) in Vologda was constructed in 1568-1570 at the order of Ivan the Terrible. Today it is the Cathedral of the Vologda Metropolis together with the Cathedral of the Resurrection Cathedral.
