Ukrainian SSR. The construction of Khmelnytsky Nuclear Power Plant in Netishyn, Khmelnytsky Region. Khmelnytsky Nuclear Power Plant started as a joint Soviet-Polish project, with the agreement on cooperation in construction and use of the 750 kV Rzeszow (Poland)–Khmelnytsky (USSR) powerline signed at a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Council for Mutual Economic Assistance in 1979.
