In order to avoid bloodshed, soldiers of the Popular Front of the Azerbaijan SSR persuaded the servicemen of Dzerzhinsky regiment not to protect the building of the CC of the Communist Party surrounded by Popular Front forces. In a gesture of gratitude, Popular Front men escort the servicemen to their station.
