The "Black Virgin" Castle in the village of Nevitskoye (the Castle of "Evil Virgin) located in the valley of the Uzh River in Transcarpathia was a stronghold of local feudal lords in their struggle against Hungarian King Charles Robert of Anjou (1288-1342).
