A monument in front of the entrance to Zvartnots Cathedral (the cathedral of Vigil forces, the cathedral of Celestial angels) near Echmiadzin. An outstanding monument of early Medieval Armenian architecture (constructed in 641-661). The ruins were uncovered through excavations of 1901-1907. The foundation stones, architectural moulds, shanks, bases and capitals have survived. The Armenian SSR.
