Red Bull Flugtag creative contest and show of flying machines was held in Kiev, Ukraine, for the first time on June 19, 2010. Over 700 teams applied for participation suggesting their ideas of flying machines, of which only 40 were selected. The flying machine "Flying Hammer" flied the longest distance, 22 meters, during the contest.
