A monument to Kozma Minin and Dmitry Pozharsky on Red Square by Ivan Martod (1754-1835). The sculptor worked on the monument from 1804 to 1817. The money for the monument were contributed by the nation. the inscription above the bas-relief reads: "To Citizen Minin and Count Pozharsky from the Grateful Russia, 1818." The monument was unvailed on February 20, 1818.
