

Entrance to the Derbent Juma Mosque, the oldest mosque in the Caucases. The "Great Cathedral Mosque" was built by Arab commander, Maslamah ibn Abd al-Malik (Abu-Muslim) who conquered Derbent, in 733-734. The Derbent State Museum Reserve, Dagestan.
