R-12 medium-range missiles to be destroyed in accordance with the Treaty Between the United States of America and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics on the Elimination of Their Intermediate-Range and Shorter-Range Missiles signed by Mikhail Gorbachev and Ronald Reagan on December 8, 1987 in Washington. The treaty entered into force on June 1, 1988.
