Women take part in the Metelitsa (Snow Storm) science-and-sports Antarctic expedition. It took them 57 days to ski 1,420 kilometers from Mirny station, the Pole of Cold, to Vostok station. The expedition is now called the International Public Organization International Polar Sports Expedition Center Metelitsa.
